Findings of Significant Effects

The need for a large lot business park in Redding is well documented. The lack of "ready-to-go" larger lot sizes has hampered the City's efforts to attract targeted businesses and industries to the Redding area. Environmental review and alternatives analysis will be used to determine an environmentally sensitive park and layout so that the proposed Business Park complex is designed to provide needed land and infrastructure to allow for quality employment opportunities and economic stability to the region for the next 25 years. The City is considering all viable alternatives that will meet the purpose and need of this project.
