Girls Softball League
From the eager learners in the Little Ladies program to the advanced level of play in the Majors division, the philosophy of this program is to provide an opportunity for players to have fun, participate and learn the fundamental skills of softball. The league is open to all levels of players.
Teams will be formed into the following age groups:
- Little Ladies (Kindergarten - 6 years)
- Rookies (7-8 years)
- Mini-Minors (9-10 years)
- Minors (11-12 years)
- Majors (13-16 years)
Under Amateur Softball Association of America (ASA) rules, the girl's age as of January 1st of 2011 determines which division the girl is placed.
Spring
Registration Deadline:
February 16 or until league fills (whichever comes first).

Player Evaluations:
March 3 for Mini-Minors, Minors, and Major Divisions only. Appointment times and locations will be distributed at the time of registration.
Practice Can Begin:
March 10 (as determined by each team coach). There is a maximum of two practices and a minimum of one practice allowed per week prior to league games beginning and a maximum of one practice per week once league games begin.
Opening Day Ceremonies: CANCELED
Skill Challenge
Rescheduled, Sunday, April 29th 12-3pm, Softball Park
All Divisions can participate!
Players come test your skills in the following categories:
- Hit for Distance
- Pitch for Speed
- Throw for Distance
- Running
- Slide for Distance
Set a record and have your name placed on the perpetual banner hanging at Softball Park!
League Games: April 9-May 17
Awards Ceremonies: Fri, May 18, 6:00 pm
Post Season Tournament Play:
All-star teams will be formed in Mini-Minors, Minors & Majors divisions to participate in a post season exhibition games on May 19-20.
Fee: $60 (Includes shirt and visor).
Fall
Practice Can Begin:

League Games: 9/24-11/2 (primarily weekday evening)
Championship Games: November 3, Saturday
Awards Ceremonies: Fri, May 18, 6:00 pm
Fee: $60 (Includes shirt and visor), $55 Little Ladies division (Includes shirt and visor)
Needed: Managers, coaches, scorekeepers, concessionaires, umpire & field maintenance workers.
