Vickie Wolf - Redding City Hall

What is Your Everest? Vickie's Everest is in creating images that capture the imagination of the view allowing them the freedom of their own creativity and experiences. Her desire is to allow the camera to become the paint brush. Each image is representative of the world we see every day but is presented with imagination that may open for you a path to experience your own personal interpretation.

Derek Grinnell - Redding City Hall

Derek Grinnell's unique style with penmanship and watercolour has earned him recognition of the highest caliber in fine art and illustration enterprises. His work here reflects a lifetimes progression. Apart from painting the sheer beauty of trees, meadow and mountain views from his property in Viola, he still takes on assignments national and international. Putting ones heart in his work is the important objective.

Page Miller - Redding City Hall

Page Miller is a 21st Century expressionist who uses form, color, and composition to excite the viewer. He is a life-long Shasta County resident and has loved and studied art all his life. His work is very vibrant, colorful, and full of energy. Much of his work reflects nature with his own unique twist. As you will find in many of his pieces, the more you look, the more you see. Many details reveal themselves upon scrutiny that may not be apparent at first glance. Enjoy!

Michael Karns - Redding City Hall

Michael Karn's tools and techniques are unconventional. He uses latex paint and adds sand, sawdust, or ash to create texture. He paints with trowels, branches, and brooms. He engages each canvas as a spontaneous action/re-action to make each it's own. During this process the world blurs and the painting comes to life. 'This is the moment that drives me.' Enjoy the show!
