Francie Sullivan was elected to the City Council in November 2010 to a four-year term.
Francie's love for the quality of life in Redding dates back to 1966 as a freshman at Shasta College. She has lived in Shasta County, off and on, since that time.
Previously, Francie served as a Shasta County Supervisor, and is proud that during hard times, she worked with staff to balance budgets, joined the cities to form an Enterprise Zone, created jobs, and managed the County landfill. She represented California local government in a three state economic recovery effort to help create jobs and build businesses.
Francie's experience brings to the table creative ways to provide services while saving costs to taxpayers. Her focus as Council Member will be to maintain and expand businesses already in Redding.
Liaison Assignments: Francie also acts as City Council liaison to the Finance and Fire Departments, the Economic Development Corporation, the Indian Gaming Local Community Benefit Committee, Stillwater Business Park, and Alternate to the League of California Cities.
