About Us
Municipal Utilities is dedicated to provide Redding with excellent service every day.
Many functions considered to be public works are incorporated and administered within Redding Municipal Utilities. The department is able to perform its broad range of functions by having a highly skilled staff of approximately 165 full-time employees.
We provide and maintain the water, sewer, storm drainage, and solid waste services for the City of Redding. We have a variety of programs to promote water quality protection, water conservation, household recycling, and a variety of other essential services.
