BRIDGES

Numerous bridges are located throughout the City of Redding and vary in size and type of construction.  These bridges are inspected over a three-year period by the State of California, Department of Transportation (Caltrans).  Annually, the City's Streets Division receives detailed bridge inspection reports from Caltrans identifying maintenance needs.  From these reports, the Streets Division personnel schedule and complete all necessary maintenance items on these bridges.

The Streets Division welcomes timely notification from citizens of any maintenance or safety related issues they may encounter on City maintained bridges.  The list of bridges identifies those bridges that the City of Redding maintains.  To report your findings, you may call 530-224-6068 or use the Service Request form.
